It's time forVacation Bible School! VBS is Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 12, from 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. This year's curriculum takes your children to an extreme adventure camp where they Experience and Discover God Everywhere! CAMP E.D.G.E is not your typical stroll through the woods. It's an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition that teaches kids their strength comes from God. Through rockin' contemporary music, larger-than-life recreation games, mind-boggling science activities, extreme sports videos, and cool, challenging crafts, you'll show your kids how to live on the E.D.G.E. in their faith. Registration is still open to all at no charge.

5/6 GRADE CAMPERS GET READY!

Camp Mimanagish 5/6 grade camp is June 14-20. If you have a camper who would like to join Will Hoard, Molly Koostra, and Kessa Rigali, please get them registered! Cindy Hoard has offered to drive the kids to camp but please let us know if you can assist with carpooling. Also, due to some cancellations, 2 female camp counselors are needed. SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS & ROOM PICK UP

Children begin in worship and then go to room 4 for a Sunday Special. Teachers are still needed for Sunday Specials during the summer on June 7, June 14, July 19, August 2, and August 23. Nursery attendants (two per Sunday) are also needed on June 14, August 23, and August 30. Check your calendar and share your talents with the youth of our church. As Rev. Kama said Sunday, "Can You Hear Me Now?" Try stepping out of your comfort zone, pitch in, and join in the fun! Call Bonnie Warren at the church 453-4316 or home, 727-1380.

Everyone teaching, leading, and helping during Vacation Bible School will meet in the Conference Room after church on Sunday, June 7^th, at 10:30 A.M. We will be setting up the area and rooms.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Nick Cetto, John Skees, and Cecil Warren for placing the VBS sign up against the front brick wall of the church. Sometimes it does take men with authority and power tools to keep the rest of us out of trouble! It is secure, looks great, and I thank them so much. METHODIST WINDOWS PROJECT Christ United Methodist is closing in on their goal of reaching $8,350 to provide for new, energy-efficient windows in the Sunday School classrooms wing. With $6,268 being donated so far, they are anxious to get this project started. If you would like to help, contributions should be marked "CUMC windows."

Rev. Jim Petersen's Bible Study meets on Sunday, June 7^th at 11:00 A.M. for session eleven of the Eclipsing Empire DVD, ICONS and on Wednesday June 10^th at 12:00 P.M. for the final session, ECLIPSE.

FOURTH OF JULY FUN & KAZOO BAND Just a reminder there will be an organizational meeting this Sunday, June 7, after worship, Room 7. If interested, please be there to help us plan our parade float and kazoo songs!

CROP WALK RESULTS

This year's CROP WALK raised $13,073, the 2^nd largest amount in the 24 years that our church has been participating. � of that went to the local food bank to help stomp out hunger in our area. The remaining � went to Church World Service to aid in the fight against world hunger. Next year's CROP WALK is on April 10.

A BENEFIT GARAGE SALE, JUNE 6

On June 6, we will gather in the church parking lot for a benefit sale, beginning at 8:00 A.M., for Bob and Teresa Norton of Great Falls whose son, Bobby Richards, was critically injured in a car accident on May 21, in Minneapolis. Friends are hoping to put together enough money to cover their travel expenses and lodging. Those having clean, sellable items to donate or time to help work the sale are asked to contact the church or call Barb Walters at 899-6376.

SOUP AND ROLLS FOR THE SOUL

(Formerly known as Contemporary Worship) will be held on Thursday, June 4^th, at 5:45 P.M. Join us for a time of praise and thanksgiving as well as a meditation led by Rev. Jim Petersen. Worship will be followed by a light supper at 6:30 P.M.

HANDBELL HOSPITALITY

Christ UMC is hosting the Wesley Bell Ringers, a youth handbell choir from Christ UMC in Salt Lake City as they perform on their 44^th Annual Tour. We invite our FCUCC friends to help with this fun evening if you wish! Mark your calendar to come to their concert on Friday, June 26, at 7:30 P.M. at the church. Housing is needed to provide 6 rooms (2 boys each), 3 rooms (2 girls each), 2 rooms (an adult couple each), 2 rooms (one adult each).

You are asked to pick up your person(s) around 9:00 P.M. after the concert is packed up; provide breakfast, and have them back to the church by 7:30 or 8:00 A.M. We will also be providing a taco supper before the concert, for up to 40 people. Ingredients needed: hard & soft taco shells, ground meat, refried beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa ? and cookies/bars for dessert! We are looking for helpers to setup & cook, and to serve & clean up. If you wish to help, please call the church office to see what's needed on the signup sheet.

The Christian Education Board is celebrating the arrival of 2 new members. Marnee Chapman and Cathy Petersen have stepped up to the plate to help lead this important component of our church. 3 openings still remain. Please call the church or Janet Koostra if interested.
