WELCOME HOME

Homecoming.  It  is a nice word.  It sounds warm and fuzzy.  I think of chocolate chip cookies and milk.  Fall, it is a wonderful season.  Cooler mornings and evenings, and colors, it is the time of year to reestablish the healthy routines and practices that sustain us through the year.  This Sunday is Homecoming Sunday at your church.  Won't you reestablish your wonderful habit of weekly worship?  We have the chocolate chip cookies and milk ready.  After all, we can't be the C-H-U-R-C-H without "u."  Bring a friend.                   -Rev.Jim Petersen

ALBERTSONS COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Relink your Preferred Savings card

If you don't know your Preferred Savings number call (877)932-7948.  No computer?  Bring your Preferred Savings Card to the office.  If you don't have a Preferred Savings Card but would like to get one, get it at Albertsons or online at Albertsons.com

COMIN' AT YA ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!

The first Wednesday Night Live! was a huge success with over 60 people for opening night.  This new ministry is for ALL ages, and begins with dinner from 5:30-6:00 P.M.  Lois Baker is providing a sloppy joe supper on Wednesday, September 23rd. From 6:00-6:15 P.M., we have song and fellowship before breaking up into our children, youth, and adults groups. The Adult Study  Nooma for the 23rd is "Flame." Could love be the most misunderstood and misused word in our vocabulary?

Nursery care is provided for children ages 0-2.  We are still looking for more volunteers to assist with our youth, or lead an adult group, whether it be one time or for a series.  Please let Rev. Kama or Rev. Jim  know of your interest.  If you would like to be a part of the kitchen crew, please call Lois Baker at 453-0275.
