THANKSGIVING POTLUCK DINNER SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd, 5:00 P.M. The Thanksgiving dinner, sponsored by the Fellowship Board, is this Sunday November 22nd at 5:00 P.M. It's free, it's fun, and it's fellowship. If you did not get a chance to sign up, that's ok- JUST SHOW UP! The more the merrier as we gather together to feast and count our blessings. If you would like a ride to the dinner, please call the office so that we may arrange for transportation. Thank you to everyone who brought in non-perishable food items for The Salvation Army Thanksgiving baskets. Your giving filled seven baskets for people who are less fortunate so they too will have a nice Thanksgiving!
SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS & ROOM PICK UPThis Sunday children begin in Sunday School Room 4 to begin Pageant practice! All children are invited to participate. Such A Lot Like Me will include all Pre-School through Middle School children. Adults and older students are welcome to assist. Come and share your many talents. INVITATION TO THE JOURNEY OF THE PEOPLE OF GOD UPDATE Thank you to the nearly 90 folks who attended our congregational meeting last Sunday, to Patty Cetto for taking minutes, and to Julie Branom for providing refreshments. Those present voted close to unanimously to go forward with this program, which will commence in late January or February of 2010. We will be in touch with our co-directors, Revs. Bill & Connie Robey, to begin organizing the process. At this point we are seeking to call 10-12 persons from within our congregation who will serve on our leadership team. Their commitment will be to attend six 5 hour training sessions, likely in
